Chongqing Yucai is an integrated 7th to 12th grade comprehensive school, and was established in 1939 in Beipei, by an educator named
Tao Xingzhi. The School was used to test Tao's theories on comprehensive education, which included six academic areas: natural science, social studies, literature, painting, music, and drama.
